Gabby Douglas is a 20-year old Olympian. She won two gold medals in the 2012 Olympics. She is also the first woman of color to become the individual all-around champion. Gabby worked hard in the U.S. gymnastics team’s trials this weekend and as a result, she is now set to join the Olympic games in Rio later this summer.
With all of her success these past few days, Gabby had more good news to announce.

Gabby’s new Barbie doll is part of the “Shero” collection. In a press statement, a spokesperson for Barbie said that the “Shero” collection honors women who “like Barbie, have broken boundaries, challenged gender norms and proven girls can be anything they want to be.”
Gabby told PEOPLE, “My older sister and I used to play with Barbies and create these dramatic fantasy stories, so it’s such a huge honor.”
